Your training stays yours

ParallelFit is made by Cybernexus Solutions ("we"). This policy explains what the ParallelFit phone and Wear OS apps collect, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and the app contains no advertising or analytics trackers.

What we collect

Location

When you record a run, ride, walk or hike, the app uses your location to measure distance, pace and climb. It does this only during a workout you start, shown by an ongoing notification, and never in the background otherwise. We do not store your route or GPS coordinates: only the resulting distance, speed and climb are saved. If you search for races near you, the app turns your location into a ZIP code and sends only that to the race listing service.

Microphone

Used only when you record a voice cheer. The clip is stored privately and only you and the person you sent it to can play it.

Health Connect and your watch

With your permission, ParallelFit reads exercise sessions, distance, heart rate, power, speed, cadence, elevation gained and steps from Health Connect, to import workouts you record with other apps and devices. ParallelFit never writes to Health Connect. The ParallelFit Wear OS app reads heart rate and location during a workout you start on the watch and sends the finished workout to your phone.

Data from Health Connect is used only to provide and improve your training in ParallelFit. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with anyone except as described on this page, and its use follows the Health Connect Permissions policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Who can see it

Partners and crewmates you have accepted can see your profile name, and, if you share your plan, your plan, goal, badges and progress.
Each workout is shared with the audience you pick (your partner, chosen crews, or no one). Comments and kudos follow the same audience. During a live session, that audience can see elapsed time, distance and pace, never your location.
Cheers and nudges are seen only by the sender and the recipient.
Race entries you add to the race calendar are visible to other signed-in ParallelFit users.
Invite links you share show your display name and current goal to whoever opens them.
Only you can see your email, birth year, injuries, coach conversations, debriefs and reviews.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run ParallelFit. Each receives only what it needs:

Supabase hosts our database, authentication and file storage.
AI model providers generate plans, coaching replies, debriefs and reviews: Anthropic, with OpenAI and Google (Gemini) as backups if it is unavailable. They receive your display name, training details, recent workouts, goals, age, optional injury notes, and your coach messages, plus the display names and goals of your partners or crew where a feature compares you. They never receive your email address.
Expo delivers push notifications (the notification text, such as a cheer and the sender's name).
RevenueCat and Google Play handle subscriptions, identified by an internal account number rather than your name or email.
RunSignUp provides race listings when you search (a ZIP code only).

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists, so your history and plan carry forward. Invite links expire after 7 days. When you delete your account, your data is deleted as described on Delete your account; purchase records may be kept where the law requires it for tax and accounting.

Your choices and rights

Edit your profile, sharing settings and each workout's audience in the app.
Turn off Health Connect, location, microphone or notification access at any time in your phone's settings.
Delete your account and data from the app or by email: see Delete your account.
Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, by emailing the address below. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have further rights, and we'll honour requests regardless of where you live.

Children

ParallelFit is for people 13 and older. We ask for your year of birth when you sign up and don't create accounts for anyone younger. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted by account, so each person can only reach what they're allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll notify affected users of a breach as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app before it takes effect.
